In preparation for Megadeth’s final album release, they have revealed the official track listing. The album will include “Ride The Lightning” in order to “close the circle,” according to Dave Mustaine.
Official Track List Revealed
The official track listing for the legendary band’s upcoming self-titled album has been released. It is set to include “Tipping Point”, which was released on October 3rd. More information can be found here! The album will also include the iconic “Ride The Lightning” as a bonus track, which Dave Mustaine wrote with Metallica’s James Hetfield, Cliff Burton, and Lars Ulrich. The song has gone on to become a metal staple, known as the title track of Metallica’s 1984 album.
“As I come full circle on the career of a lifetime, the decision to include ‘Ride The Lightning,’ a song I co-wrote with James, Lars, and Cliff, was to pay my respects to where my career first started,” Mustaine says.
The official track listing is as follows:
Tipping Point
I Don’t Care
Hey, God?!
Let There Be Shred
Puppet Parade
Another Bad Day
Made To Kill
Obey The Call
I Am War
The Last Note
Ride The Lightning (Bonus Track)
Self-Titled
Megadeth’s self-titled album is ready to release on January 23, 2026.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that the 2026 album would be the band’s last. Vic Rattlehead, Mustaine’s alter ego, stated, “For over four decades, I’ve been chained in silence, but the end demands my voice. It is confirmed that the next Megadeth studio album will be the last. Forty years of metal, forged in steel, ending in fire. And when the new year rises, the global farewell tour. You’ve heard the warning. Now prepare yourself, Cyber Army. Stay loud, stay tuned, and meet me on the frontlines.”
Mustaine stated, “There’s so many musicians that have come to the end of their career, whether accidental or intentional, most of them don’t get to go out on their own terms on top, and that’s where I’m at in my life right now. I have travelled the world and have made millions upon millions of fans, and the hardest part of all of this is saying goodbye to them.” He continues, “We can’t wait for you to hear this album and see us on tour. If there was ever a perfect time for us to put out a new album, it’s now. If there was ever a perfect time to tour the world, it’s now. This is also a perfect time for us to tell you that it’s our last studio album. We’ve made a lot of friends over the years, and I hope to see all of you on our global farewell tour. Don’t be mad, don’t be sad, be happy for us all, come celebrate with me these next few years.”
The album is available for pre-order via Mustaine’s Tradecraft imprint in partnership with Frontiers Label Group’s new BLKIIBLK label. You can find it here!
Avatar has released a new album, accompanied by a spooky music video, perfect for Halloween. The band is also hitting the road for the foreseeable future, including a Summer 2026 tour with Metallica.
Don’t Go In The Forest
On the spookiest day of the year, Avatar has unveiled their brand new album, Don’t Go In The Forest. Alongside the album, a music video for the title track was released, directed by Johan Carlén. This video perfectly encapsulates the lyrical themes and haunting energy with an almost vintage style feel.
Speaking on the album, vocalist Johannes Eckerström explains, “The secret ingredient is that we still feel like we’re just getting started. Don’t Go In The Forest is an album filled to the brim with stuff we’ve never done before. It’s all songs and concepts we haven’t been close to touch until now. The mind is wild and we have lost ourselves in the darkest woods, filled with memories, and fantasies. Forbidden thoughts that must be spoken.”
He furthered, “It would have been impossible to make this album at any other time than now. That’s all we ever wanted, and I think you’ll find it’s all you ever wanted too.”
Don’t Go In The Forest is available for streaming and purchase now and can be found here!
Impact of Avatar
Avatar has evolved and continued its acclaimed momentum over the years. Their 2023 album, Dance Devil Dance, included their No. 1 Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay hit “The Dirt I’m Buried In”. They have continued on to headline multiple sold-out tours, and even have a fossil named after them.
The impact of Avatar is no secret, and Don’t Go In The Forest furthers it.

Fresh off the release off their new album Breach, which became the duo’s second record to debut atop the Billboard 200, Twenty One Pilots are stepping into the spotlight once again, this time to honor one of rock’s most iconic duos. The GRAMMY-winning pair announced they’ll be performing The White Stripes’ legendary anthem “Seven Nation Army” at this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on November 8 in Los Angeles.
The tribute performance comes on the heels of the aforementioned massive year for Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, who’ve continued to prove they’re one of modern rock’s most electric live acts. Now, they’re taking that energy to the Hall of Fame stage to salute Jack and Meg White, the band that helped define a generation of stripped-down, garage rock rebellion.
Fans can catch the set when the ceremony streams live on Disney+ at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET on November 8, with the full show available to stream afterward.
Get ready, this “Seven Nation Army” is about to march straight into Twenty One Pilots territory.

Melody’s Echo Chamber has unleashed her newest single in anticipation of her upcoming album, Unclouded, an album celebrating the present moment.
“Eyes Closed” Single Artwork
Eyes Closed
Melody’s Echo Chamber’s newest single, “Eyes Closed”, creates a unique and captivating atmosphere. With driving drums from British drummer Malcom Catto, the percussion takes the lead in this playful yet dreamy and whimsical single. Catto has previously collaborated with Madlib and DJ Shadow, and is also the powerhouse behind The Heliocentrics.
The single captures Melody’s avant-garde, sculptural production style.
“My eyes are closed not in denial, but in devotion—to vibrant memories, to the complexity of human feelings, to seeing more deeply,” says Melody. “It’s also driven by a resilient aesthetic that emphasizes the beauty of transient things and the bittersweet feeling of their impermanence.”
“Eyes Closed” is available now! It can be found here.
Unclouded
“Eyes Closes” works to build anticipation for Melody’s Echo Chamber’s fourth studio album, Unclouded, out December 5.
The single joins the previously released “In The Stars”, characterized by its dreamy nature and catchy bass. It has been praised by The Clash for its “drifting psych-pop ambience.” “Daisy”, featuring EL Michels Affair, has also revealed itself to the world. It has received praise from many, including Stereogum, who labelled the song as “bright, delicate and airy…mov(ing) with a skip in its step.”
“The music I create unusually inhabits the liminal zone between realism and fables,” says Melody. “But the more experience I have of living, the deeper I love life and the less I need to escape. If my heart still belongs to the blue hour, it also feels like I’ve gathered up all the pieces of myself that were scattered everywhere and glued them together with gold like Japanese kintsugi.” (Kintsugi is a Japanese art where broken pottery is put back together with gold or silver lacquer.)
Collaborators
Many talented collaborators worked to sculpt the album into Unclouded. Sven Wunder, known for his work with Danny Brown, co-produced as well as assisted in the writing process. Avant-garde strings help to create the perfect atmosphere, added by Josefin Runsteen. Dina Ögon’s Daniel Ögen added distinct guitar parts while Lose Orsan contributed to the bass. The previously mentioned Malcom Catto also played a big role in percussion, heard on “Eyes Closed”.
Frequent collaborator Reine Fiske also added stunning guitar parts, which can be found throughout the album. Leon Michaels, known for working with Wu-Tang, The Carters, Norah Jones, and Clairo, worked on the album’s closer, as well as “Daisy”. And finally, El Michael’s Affair’s Grammy-winning mixer, Jens Jungkurth, worked to bring the entire album to life.
Unclouded was inspired by “My deeper love for the living experience,” says Melody. “I still get ups and downs but I’m faster at getting back to more harmonious feelings.”
Unclouded is available for pre-save here as well as pre-order for physical here.
Earlier this year, in August, The Beths released Straight line Was A Lie via ANTI-. The album has received plenty of praise, including Under The Radar claiming it as “some of the most thoughtful songwriting of The Beths’ career.” PopMatters stated, “The Beths’ Straight Line Was a Lie is full of catchy hooks, big guitar riffs, and often introspective lyrics. The New Zealand quartet are at the top of their game.”
Late Night Television Debut
The Beths have officially made their late-night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live. They performed Straight Line Was A Lie’s title/opening track, praised by Stereogum as a “total slam dunk of an opener.”
The performance offers watchers a taste of what to expect from The Beth’s world tour, beginning last month in Europe. The North American portion begins on Thursday in Asheville, North Carolina. The North American leg includes some of the largest venues to date in the United States, including The Wiltern in Los Angeles, The Fillmore in San Francisco, The Salt Shed in Chicago, Brooklyn Paramount in New York City, Union Transfer in Philadelphia, 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., and more. A full list of tour dates can be found below.
The journey from their critically acclaimed 2022 album Expert In A Dying Field to Straight Line Was A Lie required Elizabeth Stokes to break down their typical writing process.
The band has been struggling to write new material beyond what she already has recorded on her phone. Having recently started taking SSRIs, which assisted in mental and physical well-being, it was more difficult to write. They decided to open up to a new process, with a free-flowing writing routine. Stokes, an already celebrated lyricist, rebuilt her relationship with writing. Her songwriting has gone to new depths of vulnerability, making Straight Line Was A Lie a truthful, observant, and poetic piece of art. A.V. Club described the album as, “…a more insightful, introspective album than anything the band has released in the past—though Stokes’ clever lyrics are still front and center.”
Straight Line Was A Lie is available for purchase and streaming here.

Poppy Constantly Nowhere Tour Poster
Poppy UK/EU Tour
The nu-hardcore is set to tour the UK/EU with the boundary-pushing artist Poppy. Next spring, beginning March 4 in Glasgow, UK, they will be making stops in Manchester, London, Milan, and more before commencing in Stockholm, Sweden, on April 4.
Fox Lake is known for putting a new spin on what hardcore can look and feel like. Their energetic live performances and emotional depth put listeners in the world of each song they write. Now they have taken their boundary-pushing nature a step further with their collaboration with Phase One.
“Freestyle” (Phase One Remix) is available for streaming now via Sounds of Mayhem and can be found here.
“Freestyle” was originally a track from their recent album New World Heat, released August 1, 2025. New Noise Magazine reviewed the album, stating, “They’re writing a new script for a full-length feature that’s entirely their own. After stripping back everything that didn’t feel like authentically Fox Lake, New World Heat is all killer, no filler. Rapid-fire riffs. Relentless tempos. Uncompromising lyricism. It’s high-octane hardcore, turned up to 11.”
Starting on November 12 in New York, New York, Fox Lake will begin their US tour with Grey Haven. They will be traveling with Commoner across the United States. Stops include Atlanta, Georgia, Nashville, Tennessee, Atlanta, Georgia, Dallas, Texas, and more. The tour wraps up on December 13 at the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana.
New Miserable Experience has released a taste of their upcoming album, coming paired with a dark music video.
“Payback From God” Single Art
Payback From God
The alternative synth-rock band, New Miserable Experience, has released their newest single, “Payback From God”.
“Payback From God” offers a first look at their upcoming album. It is true to their signature sound. With its confessional lyrics, the vocals are surrounded by synths and a driving percussion, contributing to a dreamy atmosphere that still keeps the listener grounded.
The accompanying music video creates a dark and almost occult atmosphere, with flashing scenes of cemeteries, animal bones, fire, and more. The scenes are stitched together by clips of the vocalist in a hallway, lit by a small square light behind him.
Their upcoming album, Gild the Lily, will be available via Pelagic Records on January 23.
New Miserable Experience
The band began as a file-trading collaboration between former Rosetta member David Grossman and multi-instrumentalist Joshua Mahesh Kost, from Model Prisoner. Now, the band has expanded to include Rosetta drummer Bruce “B.J.” McMurtrie Jr., Revocation bassist Brett Bamberger, and Rivers of Nihil guitarist Brody Uttley.
Each member brings their own unique experience and style, creating the mix that is New Miserable Experience. They work to blend groove and tension, making for a unique and emotional experience.
Natalie Jane is taking her heartbreak around the world. Fresh off the release of her sophomore album the world i didn’t want (via Capitol Records/10K Projects), the rising pop powerhouse has announced an international tour of the same name.
Kicking off in Seattle on February 27, the run hits major cities across North America, including Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta, before heading overseas for a stretch of UK and European dates. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, October 30 at 10 a.m. local time, with artist presales launching tomorrow.
The tour follows a banner year for Jane, who’s racked up over 2 billion global streams and earned a spot on GRAMMY.com’s “25 Rising Artists To Watch.” Her viral anthems “girls will b girls,” “r u gonna love me?,” and “fallin” have cemented her as one of pop’s most emotionally raw new voices, while collaborations like the Loud Luxury cut “UH-OH!” show her knack for a dance-floor hook.
With the world i didn’t want, Natalie Jane dives deeper into heartbreak, healing, and self-reflection, and now, she’s ready to bring that energy to the stage.
