The faceless UK-based band PRESIDENT gave their State of the Union address in this issue of Hit Parader Magazine, including an exclusive interview about their meteoric rise, the role of anonymity, and the theming behind their brand-new debut album, Blood of Your Empire.
First seen at Download Festival in 2025, their blend of electronic production elements and a metalcore base, mixed with their eerie world-building, defined who they were from the very beginning and has done nothing but serve their original goal: to allow the facelessness to be a means of being more vulnerable while simultaneously leaving room for the listener to interpret it as they see best. With a tour with Bad Omens and Beartooth already a notch on their belt and their first full headline run of “Rallies” happening this fall, the group isn’t afraid to share their music with the world on stage, even if it means wearing a suit and sweating through their masks as they perform for their diehard fans they’ve built over the past year and a half.
PRESIDENT is living proof that putting a face to the name can sometimes detract from what you want to say, and for the group, Blood of Your Empire was the place to say it.
This issue ships in October.
