Ken Carson just dropped a Halloween treat. The Atlanta-born platinum artist released his new track “YES” today, a high-energy anthem produced by Clif Shyne that arrives in the middle of his Antagonist 2.0 tour with Playboi Carti. After teasing snippets across socials for weeks, the official version finally landed, following his explosive ComplexCon performance and his recent Hypebeast Magazine cover.
2025 has been a breakout year for Carson, who’s turned chaos into an art form. His latest album More Chaos debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earning him his biggest release to date and solidifying his reign as one of rap’s loudest disruptors. The project followed A Great Chaos, which helped define the modern “rage rap” movement and pushed Carson’s sound into punk and electronic territory.
Since More Chaos dropped, the Opium signee has racked up four new RIAA Platinum certifications for “Fighting My,” “Overseas,” “SS,” and A Great Chaos. The album’s production lineup features regular collaborators Starboy, Lil 88, F1LTHY, Outtatown, Lucian, and Legion. On release night, Carson surprised fans with the bonus track “Off The Meter,” marking the first official collaboration between Ken, Playboi Carti, and Destroy Lonely.
The success of More Chaos carried Carson into a new league. The project topped Apple Music’s All-Genre chart, Spotify’s Global and U.S. charts, and HITS Top 50, pulling in more than 21 million streams on its first day. Critics across The New York Times, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Billboard, and Complex named it one of the year’s best releases, while Variety added Carson to its Young Hollywood Impact Report.
Carson’s live shows have grown just as massive. His Chaos World Tour in 2024 sold over 230,000 tickets across North America and Europe, including two sold-out nights at Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles and three back-to-back sellouts at Terminal 5 in New York City. Known for his high-voltage performances, he’s built a reputation for turning every set into a riot of energy, distortion, and viral moments.
Off stage, Carson has become a cultural figure in his own right. He’s earned shoutouts from icons like Jay-Z, Justin Bieber, LeBron James, and Anthony Kiedis of Red Hot Chili Peppers. He’s collaborated with brands like Ed Hardy, Y/Project, and Marc Jacobs’ Heaven line, while also debuting exclusive merch collabs with Jesse Jo Stark’s Deadly Doll and Affliction at ComplexCon. The latter of which will be available at 9pm PT here.
With “YES,” Carson continues his unrelenting streak, proving there’s no ceiling to the world of chaos he’s built. His next chapter is already unfolding on the Antagonist 2.0 arena tour, where he’s turning every stop into a statement on how far he’s come, and how far he’s still willing to go.
Stream “YES” now and catch Ken Carson on tour through December.
